Artificial Light

Nowadays the sky look blue at night
Nowadays the sky’s black blue at night.
Like if you looked up at night real quick,
you probably wouldn’t even catch the stars.
Human lights would blind you from what’s real,
until your eyes focus to see black blue,
and stars glistening
                                    flickering
flickering
                        flickering.

Then for a brief moment,
you realize you’re in the real world,
and that everything before
was artificial.
