With the start of his “What Now” stand-up comedy show tour around the country, comedic rockstar and actor, Kevin Hart has expanded his celebrity status to new horizons. Each morning of showday, Hart has invited fans via social media to join him in his daily 5k run.
Most people are unaware of Kevin Hart’s work ethic and physical activity, but since the start of his stand-up career in the early 2000s, he has had four successful comedy tours, and has starred in over 30 films including “Think Like A Man,” “Think Like A Man Too,” “Ride Along,” “About Last Night,” “Wedding Ringer,” “Grudge Match,” and most recently “Get Hard,” which costars actor/comedian, Will Farrell.
As said by Michael Ordoña of Chron.com, Hart has slowly gained the illustrious reputation for being the “hardest working man in show business.”
Obviously, Kevin Hart has placed he and his family in a well-off position financially, yet, he is still striving for more. Currently, Kevin is adding voice-over work to his repertoire of talents. Hart is set to play Snowball in “The Secret Life of Pets,” an animated film set to release in 2016.
Also, he is to play George Beard in the critically-acclaimed children’s novel, “Captain Underpants,” which is said to be released in 2017.
In addition to his success as a movie-star, Hart has also been a well-known advocate for physical activity. He is constantly uploading videos of himself working out at the gym on YouTube and Instagram, and now he is looking to get others involved with his “Run With Hart” campaign.
“It’s authentic,” Hart said in a video that he posted on his Facebook fan page on August 22 while in Kansas City, Missouri. “I don’t just say stuff just to say it. I do it. I put my actions behind my words…This will be something that goes on and will become one of the biggest events in the world.”
With all of the work that Kevin Hart has partaken in recently, he has still found a way to encourage others to join him in an early morning 5k run. Already, he has begun to gain attention from fellow super stars such as, Jahlil Okafor (NBA), who ran along with Kevin and fans on August 29 in Philadelphia.
In order to enhance the efforts of the “Run With Hart” campaign, Kevin Hart has partnered up with Nike.
